These terms govern your participation in the Mehrana Marketing Partner Program (the "Program"). By applying to or participating in the Program you agree to them. They are written in plain language alongside our standard Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which also apply. This is not legal advice; where local law sets a higher standard, that standard governs.
Disclosure is mandatory
You must clearly and conspicuously disclose your paid relationship with Mehrana whenever you promote the free audit or any Mehrana service — for example "#ad", "paid partner", or "I earn a commission if you use this link". This is required by Canada's Competition Bureau and equivalent FTC-style rules, and by this Program. Disclosure must be visible before the link, not buried in a description or a separate page.
How tracking and attribution work
On approval you receive a unique referral link with UTM parameters. We attribute a referral to you using that link plus a cookie set when the visitor arrives, on a last-click basis within the tracking window. Your referral ID is stored on the resulting lead record so attribution follows the referral through to a closed client.
What you earn
You earn a fixed amount for every qualified audit you generate, paid monthly (net-30) for audits confirmed in the previous month. You earn a one-time bonus when a referral becomes a paying client, paid the month after that client's first invoice is paid. Payout amounts are shown on the Partner Program page and may be updated prospectively; the rate in effect when an event is confirmed applies to that event.
A "qualified audit" is an audit request that comes from a real, operating business in or serving the GTA / Canada, includes a valid phone number and email, completes the free audit request form, is not already a Mehrana client or existing lead, and is one per business. Every audit defaults to unqualified until Mehrana reviews and confirms it. Mehrana determines qualification in its sole, reasonable discretion.
Payout schedule and minimum threshold
Payouts run monthly. A minimum balance of $50 must accrue before a payout is issued; balances below the minimum roll over to the next month until the threshold is met. You choose your payout method — Interac e-Transfer, PayPal, or Wise — when you sign up, and you are responsible for providing accurate payout details and for any taxes owed on your earnings.
Prohibited conduct
The following are not allowed and will result in withheld payouts and removal from the Program:
- Incentivized traffic — paying, rewarding, or otherwise inducing people to request an audit.
- Fake, bought, scraped, or otherwise non-genuine leads.
- Self-referrals — referring your own business, email, domain, or accounts you control.
- Bidding on "Mehrana" or close variants as keywords in paid search, or using Mehrana trademarks in ad copy or domains.
- Spam, misleading claims about Mehrana, or any unlawful, deceptive, or harmful promotion.
- Misrepresenting your relationship with Mehrana or failing to disclose it.
Clawback
Payouts are reversible. We may reverse or withhold any payout for audits later found to be fraudulent, duplicated, ineligible, or generated in breach of these terms, and for referrals whose client relationship is refunded, charged back, or cancelled within the qualifying period. If a reversal exceeds your current balance, the deficit is carried against future earnings.
Approval, suspension, and removal
Participation is by approval only. We vet applicants before issuing referral links and may decline, suspend, or remove any partner, and may qualify or disqualify any audit, at our sole discretion — including for suspected fraud or breach of these terms. We may also pause or end the Program, or change these terms, at any time; material changes take effect when posted on this page and apply to events confirmed afterward.
Relationship of the parties
You participate as an independent party, not an employee, agent, or representative of Mehrana. You have no authority to make commitments on Mehrana's behalf, and nothing here creates a partnership or joint venture in the legal sense.
